DUTIES
- Prepare, compound and dispense medication.
- Monitor drug therapies for contraindications, interactions allergies and appropriateness
- Monitor adverse drug reactions and report to the relevant authority
- Monitor the quality of drugs being used by the clients
- Provide drug information to the physicians and to the public
- Give advice to clients on the appropriate use of medication, devices and services in order to achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes.
- Give advice on lifestyle choices in order to improve clients’ quality of life.
- Counsel clients on the over the counter medication to ensure no possible side effects when used with other prescribed medications.
- Aid clients in the management of chronic non communicable diseases
- Conduct tests such as blood pressure, blood glucose and cholesterol and advises on follow up actions.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy (Bsc.)
- Registration with the Pharmacy Board of Trinidad and Tobago
