Talk to a Trusted Adult for Support

You can start by talking about your experiences, thoughts, and concerns with someone you trust. A friend or relative may not be able to solve your problem, but sharing your worries with a supportive person can provide some relief. Additionally, they might help you find professional care if you choose to seek it.

Trusted adults can be your parents, a family member, the police, your teachers, school principals, school guidance counsellor, a leader from your church or a community leader, a Ministry of Health representative or a Ministry of Education Student Support Services Division Representative.
